name is Euan Shepherd. I have been manager of Holmes Cairns for the
last 6 years. Cairns is a special destination and a special college.
Welcome to life in Holmes Colleges Cairns. On arrival, you are greeted

Superbly
situated in the centre of the city of Cairns, this modern air
conditioned campus with the centre piece being an open-air rainforest
courtyard provides easy and convenient access to transport and
amenities metres from the front door. When you are finished studying,
enjoy the rainforest, reef and nightlife that Cairns is famous for.
In the college, every Monday, we have smaller style classes and a
friendly atmosphere. Classes cover all key skills (Speaking, Listening,
Reading, Writing and Pronunciation) with a specific emphasis on
communication. Many of our teachers have either lived or traveled to
Japan so we understand Japanese learner needs.
Holmes Cairns also has enrolments for business courses in
Hospitality and Commercial Cookery eight times a year so we can help
you into further study beyond English. These courses are a great way to
find work in Australia and sometimes lead to more permanent stays in
Australia.
